Shymkent hosted a conference for women entrepreneurs - KMF Isker Hanymy

On March 15, the annual regional conference for women entrepreneurs KMF Isker Hanymy was held in Shymkent. The event was attended by 160 people, most of whom - representatives of SMEs, big business and startupers. The conference was organized by the Fund “KMF-Demeu” and the MFI “KMF”.

This event was a landmark, because the history of the conference began in this city. It was in Shymkent that the first meeting of women entrepreneurs took place in 2006.

The eleventh conference was devoted to the topic “Effective sales. New technologies in business promotion”. The event brought together business representatives from various fields. The conference program included workshops and presentations on sales techniques, as well as on the use of new methods and tools to attract customers. Among the 160 participants of the event were representatives of SMEs, large businesses and those who are just starting on their entrepreneurial path.
The speakers were the leading business coaches of the Frankfurt Business School,  KazCreditConsult company, and the Business-Route agency. In addition, a small exhibition of goods produced by KMF women borrowers was held at the conference venue.
“About 60% of KMF borrowers are women. Our constant task with KMF is not only to provide them with affordable financing, including in the rural areas, but also to help them adapt to market life, suggest how to develop their business properly and without losses, and financially support family and children. Therefore, for many years we have invested heavily in training women, developing their skills and competencies, we hire experts and deliver business trainings for them as part of a financial literacy program, ”- commented Asel Shegebayeva, General Director of “KMF-Demeu” Fund.
In addition to useful and practical information, the conference participants received inspiration and networking opportunities.
